Though it's not needed because she will follow a bucket around the moon and back.Very sweet and calm around everyone, including strangers. Allows me to hand milk her but I prefer to milk her by a machine. Separating her foster calf at night, I milk in the morning and average 2 gals in the am milking.Has a nice tight udder with all 4 quarters working perfect. She won't be stepping on this udder when she gets up. She has been a perfect cow to a beginner who wanted to learn to milk a cow. She will make a perfect nurse cow too and a wonderful addition to any family. She is still in milk and open. We are not able to handle a bull on our place and without and AI tech in the area, our vet is having to do this which is not the cheapest method. She is currently getting access to hay (and grass when we have some) 24/7 plus we feed soaked beet pulp with sweet feed twice a day. She is up-to-date on her shots and was dewormed in the spring.
